Best Time of Year for a Wedding at White Oaks

Every season works at White Oaks, and each one brings something different to an outdoor ceremony.

Spring (March through May) brings mild temperatures, blooming grounds and soft evening light, which makes it one of the most requested seasons for Saturday weddings.

Summer (June through August) is warm and humid on the coast, with the chance of a quick afternoon storm. Evening ceremonies, the covered veranda and the air conditioned Main Hall keep guests comfortable.

Fall (September through November) offers cooler evenings and golden hour light across the pond, and it books quickly. Hurricane season runs through November, so the indoor backup in the Main Hall gives you a plan either way.

Winter (December through February) is quieter on the calendar, with a heated Main Hall and the fire pit for evening gatherings. It is a smart choice for couples who want their pick of dates at a Myrtle Beach wedding venue.

4. Reserve your date. A signed contract and retainer hold your date on the calendar.
5. Plan with your planner. Every wedding works with a professional planner from our preferred list or one we approve, plus a one hour rehearsal the week of your wedding.

How many guests can White Oaks Farm hold?

The Main Hall seats up to 220 guests, with a maximum occupancy of 250 including vendors and staff. For larger weddings, call us to talk through options.

What happens if it rains?

The heated and air conditioned Main Hall is a full indoor backup for both the ceremony and reception, and the covered veranda keeps guests dry between spaces.

Where do our guests stay?

Most guests stay in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach or Little River, a short drive from the estate. Parking is on site with more than 300 spaces, and overnight parking is allowed for guests who get a ride home.

Can we bring our own vendors?

For full weddings, your planner must come from our preferred list or be approved by the venue, and other vendors can be approved as well. Contact us for our vendor requirements.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The property is wheelchair accessible throughout, and every restroom is handicap sized.
